We have received word that there are users in the Colboard.com messageboards and Colbertnation.com comments bins advocating violence against members of the South Carolina Democratic Executive Council, who last week voted to reject Stephen’s application to be on the primary ballot.
We ask that these threats cease immediately. Additionally, we ask that you alert the rest of the Colbert Nation to this important request.

Like you said, if it was real threats against babykilling abortion doctors, I could understand it; but many Democrats just do not underststand what they are doing or supporting.

That will be my next poll “who’s worse, baby killing doctors or the 13 SC Democrats who voted no?”
I feel sorry for the 3 SC Democrats that voted yes. Guilt by assassination I guess…I mean association! oops that was not a threat. Freudian Slip??

Excellent, Dave. We salute you and your salute. And if you do find it in your heroic heart to repost our Manifesto Colberto, please make sure to make it clear to the Nation that it is in its larval stage; ideally it needs our love to grow, to fill out, to really stretch that sweater if you know what I mean.
